Please save the date.  The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is hosting a “VA Services Showcase” on Wednesday, January 29th, 2014 in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area. 

The VA Showcase is an opportunity for representatives from non-governmental organizations (charities, foundations, non-profits, private sector organizations, Veteran Service Organizations, etc.) serving Veterans, their families, caregivers, survivors, and other beneficiaries to learn more about VA’s programs, services, and supports.

The VA Showcase will assemble over 33 VA program offices and 50 subject matter experts, representing the full spectrum of services, with which non-governmental organization representatives can engage in one-on-one discussions about VA programs, services, and supports.  In addition, there will be brief presentations on topics such as Veteran employment, homelessness, claims submissions, mental health and suicide prevention, education, outreach, My HealtheVet and Blue Button, and Wounded Warrior care.
