The Hammonton Tri-Vets will be sponsoring their annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony. The parade begins at 10:30 am on Bellevue Avenue in Hammonton. The ceremony will be held at the Veterans Park (on Bellevue Avenue across from the 7-11). Military equipment and antique cars and trucks will be on display. This event will be a fun-filled event for the whole family.

Lots of Veteran Activities coming up:
On May 27th at 3 pm, the Atlantic County Veterans Memorial Program. The event will be held at the Veterans Cemeteray, on Route 50 in Estell Manor.
On May 30th at 10:45 am, the Hammonton Tri-Vets will be hosting its annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony. The event will be held at Veterans Park on Bellevue Avenue.
On August 15th, Atlantic City will be hosting an Armed Forces Parade to kick-off the Atlantic City Air Show. Click here for more information.

Apparently, for the past several years, Hammonton’s water supply has been over the EPA standards for Radium and Alpha Particles, known to cause cancer. A local website, MyHammonton, broke the story. Click here to read. This is a a public safety issue for the entire community.

Hammonton DAV Chapter 66 will host a flea market on Saturday,April 30 and Sunday, May 1 at the DAV Headquarters, 446 S. Egg Harbor Road (across the street from the Hammonton Branch of the Atlantic County Library). Those wishing to sell goods can rent a 10′ by 10′ space for $10 (free for veterans).
